Membership Announcement

I would like to thank members for their support and understanding whist I have been getting up to speed with the Membership Secretary role, I am still learning something new every day, but I am getting there.

During the time I have been doing the role, one major item has become apparent, and that is that the current processes we are using for member management and especially renewals is just not delivering what it should, and needs, too. The experience for the membership is just not where it needs to be.

I have, therefore, taken a proposal to the NFAS Committee, which they have approved, to initiate a project to move us to a new membership system.

I am not able to share too much information at the moment as, you can imagine, there is a lot of planning, building, testing and due diligence to do to make this project happen, especially whilst keeping the lights on with the current systems, but basically the plan is to have everything ready on the new system so that it will be ready to take over for the 2027/28 renewal year.

My plan is to put out regular updates, both on the website and in the magazine, to keep everyone informed on progress and what to expect with the new system. I realise you are all going to have questions but please wait for these updates and I hope that they provide the answers you need.
