Rule Update – Bowhunter Proposal

The investigation of the safety surrounding the Bowhunter proposal has concluded.

Following the helpful working group meeting, alongside further exploration, the committee have decided to pass Motion B –

‘No form of release aid is permitted, one anchor point must be maintained throughout the shoot with the index finger touching the nock, be it split finger or 3 fingers under the nock. Face walking and string walking is not permitted.

An updated digital copy of the NFAS Rulebook will also be uploaded to the website in due course.
