Obituary – Bob Bruce

It is with a heavy heart we let you know a beloved fellow archer and friend
Bob Bruce passed away on December 26th 2024.

Bob Joined Whitefriars Bowmen in April 1998, during all the years in our club Bob helped move the club into its current home. He became range officer of Whitefriars Bowmen in January 2007 then  additional role of secretary in 2008.

He always put his heart and soul into the sport with the help of his wife Kay and children.
Bob helped rebuild the club. He always loved to shoot EFAA and NFAS, at the club and also going away to other clubs having a good shoot- round, (maybe with a trip to the local watering hole afterwards)
Bob was a brilliant person to shoot and be with, the banter always kept sprits high and we never said anything about a bad shot here or there “cough cough”

He has left a big legacy for us to follow and will be greatly missed by all those that met him.
Rest in peace Bob, all our thoughts our with Kay and Family
